If you do not currently attend our practice and have a Dental emergency, telephone the Dental Advisory Service on 111. Subject to availability, you may be able to book an appointment through them with us.

Are same‑day appointments available?

We reserve emergency slots each day specifically for urgent cases like toothache, infections, or dental trauma. If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, call us as early as possible—please call when we open. Appointments are limited. If you experience Dental symptoms such as severe pain, swelling or trauma whilst we are closed, telephone The Dental Advisory Service on 111.

How much does an emergency dental visit cost?

For private emergency appointments, costs typically include the consultation, any necessary X-rays, and urgent treatment such as pain relief, temporary dressings, or prescriptions. Fees depend on the complexity of your case, but we’ll always explain your options and costs before starting any treatment. Our pricing is competitive and transparent, with no hidden charges.

What should I do if I have an emergency outside your opening hours?

Absolutely. If you experience dental pain or trauma outside of our regular hours (Mon–Thurs 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–4pm), please contact NHS 111 or attend your nearest A&E. We aim to prioritise urgent cases first thing the next morning.
